Touch & Go Records (Again!)
Yet another Touch & Go Records ad. I don’t mean to keep posting these, but it is what comes up in my very, very, scientific random shuffling of what I have here. We’ve already discussed the Butthole Surfers and Die Kreuzen and their greatness, so let’s touch on The Meatmen. Basically, I think they are pretty mediocre. Even their early work is very sub par even against the most generic hardcore of the times.

Another Butthole Surfers ad, this time from Touch & Go Records. For $15 you could get their first LP but new full lengths from Necros and Die Kreuzen. Wow. Three pretty classic records. I kind of hate the Necros seven inches but their LP is a rager for sure.

Alternative Tentacles
An ad from the mid eighties for Alternative Tentacles. Featured are three great bands. The Crucifucks are a favorite of mine whose lyrics and attitude seem even more relevant today. I didn’t get too into the Butthole Surfers until a few years back but I do like them. The sleeper hit on AT is the Part Time Christians record. Some of the lyrics are goofy, but the music is pretty sick almost like Die Kreuzen or even Rorschach in some parts. I don’t know a ton about them, but I believe they also have a demo.
