Bl’ast!, SST’s Newest Recruit

This ad for Santa Cruz features Bl’ast! (SST’s newest recruit!). In the past ten years or so this has become an iconic image on the Internet. I love the juxtoposition of the band and the skater above them. Also, it certainly helps that the band is raging away. Bl’ast! are one of the best bands ever.

That is not just any skater that is flying over BL’AST! .. It is the one and only ROB ROSKOPP, one of skateboarding’s legends of the 1980′s.
